Sourced from Peru and Bolivia, these organic Brazil Nuts are pre-soaked up to 12 hours in Celtic salt water and then dehydrated for atleast 72 hours at 115 degrees F to neutralize the enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid, leaving them light, crispy, easy to digest, and full of raw, active enzymes and nutrients.  No added salts or oils. These Brazil Nuts are simply the healthiest and freshest on the market! They are always stored air-tight so as to avoid oxidation of the fats.  Combined with the pre-soaking and dehydration process, which increases their nutrient density and digestibility, and they come out light and crispy, but still raw!  Brazil Nuts contains high amounts of selenium, magnesium Vitamin E, copper, manganese, and B-complex vitamins. Most of the fats are monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) making them great at balancing cholesterols and have a great shelf life if kept in air-tight containers. Selenium can be toxic if consumed in amounts higher than 250 micrograms/day so it is best to limit consumption of Brazil Nuts to 2-5/day.   Product of Bolivia.
